Scholastic Book Fair

Visit Grand View’s Scholastic Book Fair during Parent/Teacher Conference week! Stop by the Learning Commons during lunch or before or after your conferences:

  • Open  9/26 – 10/4
  • Open daily during lunches from 11-1 and during conferences from 3:30-7:30

Book Fairs can be life-changing for students. According to Scholastic Book Fairs, a child who reads 20 minutes a day is exposed to 1.8 million words per year and scores in the 90th percentile on standardized tests. A child who reads 5 minutes a day is exposed to 282, 000 words per year and scores in the 50th percentile.
