I love teaching First Grade at Grand View Elementary. I have been in the St. Vrain Valley School District since fifth grade, and I graduated from Skyline High School. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and my Master of Arts Degree in Reading from the University of Northern Colorado. This is my 14th year of teaching - my fourth year teaching first grade. Over the years I have also taught second and third grade, and I have been a reading teacher.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my two boys – Carter (5th Grade) and Caleb (3rd Grade). We love to be outside, eat ice cream, play with our dog Bear, and cheer on Mead High School soccer where Mr. Adler coaches. I can’t wait for the fun we will have in first grade this year!
