I'm proud to be a Bison at Grand View Elementary!

I've been a part of the St. Vrain Valley School District for over 15 years, serving in various roles, including as a parent, substitute teacher, instructional paraprofessional and classroom teacher. My heart has always been in kindergarten, where I love building a strong foundation with students and families and witnessing those incredible "firsts"- the first time a child reads a word, writes their name, or understands a new concept.

Before working in education, I earned my social work degree from Utah State University and worked as a medical social worker at a hospital. After that, I was a stay-at-home mom raising my five children. My passion for supporting students in the classroom led me to pursue my teaching license through the Aspire program at the University of Colorado Denver.

When I'm not in the classroom, I'm busy cheering on my children at their football, basketball games, cross country races or enjoying music by playing the piano and guitar.

I'm excited for a great year ahead with all of our Bison!
