Principal’s Letter
Dear Grand View Families,
As we move through the school year, we want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for your partnership. Your support, involvement, and encouragement make a meaningful difference in our students’ success.
State testing is just around the corner starting in April for grades 3rd through 5th! CMAS assessments help us understand student progress and tailor our instruction to their needs. We are continuing to practice good test taking skills and focusing on doing their best everyday to showcase their learning.
Together, we are building a strong foundation for learning, growth, and achievement. Thank you for working with us to support your child’s education—we truly value our collaboration!
Sincerely,
Francesca

The book fair is coming to Grand View!
March 27th, 28th, 31st and April 1st. Watch for more details to come in March!

Reminders for Families
- Please remind your students they are not allowed to use electronic devices to call you during school hours. We would like them to come to the office to call parents, if necessary. This will help us to provide the right amount of support for your student. All cell phones need to be kept in their backpacks
- If at any time you need to get a hold of your student, please call the front office and we will contact your student during school hours.
- If you are picking up your student during school hours, you must present a photo ID. Please remember to report your child’s absence or tardy to 303-702-8000 or email: [email protected]
- Our office staff is always available to answer your questions- 303-702-8000
- Jo Jo Charles, Principal’s Secretary, [email protected]
- Emily Pacheco, Registrar/Attendance Clerk, [email protected]
- Traci Montgomery, Health Clerk, [email protected]
ADDITIONAL REMINDERS
We have so few precious minutes with your children; we want to stay focused on their learning every moment! Therefore, to minimize classroom disruption, please keep in mind the following practices:
- Items such as lunches, coats, etc., must be dropped off at the front office.
- Office staff will then notify the teacher, who will have the student pick up the item when it is least disruptive to their learning (but in time for lunch!)
- Tardy students take their passes and head straight to the classroom as quickly as possible. Parents need to come into the building to sign the student in.
- After-school messages for students should be called into the office by 3:15 pm and reserved for unexpected/significant changes to after-school pickup.
- For early pickup, students will be called out of class once the parent arrives at Grand View. Please allow extra time when picking up your child. It takes a few minutes for the student to collect their belongings and make their way to the front office.
Thank you for helping us preserve our learning environment at Grand View Elementary!

These fees are now posted in Infinite Campus if you wish to pay online.
Thank you!
