In accordance with recommendations from the Governor's Office and our county health agency partners, all in-person (in building) instruction in St. Vrain, will be canceled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. The district will continue to implement its online learning in accordance with the district calendar.

Dear Grand View Elementary Families:
It is hard to believe the first day of school is just around the corner! We are busy preparing for your children to arrive and are so eager to launch the new school year! I am so excited to be a part of building this fantastic new learning community. It will be exciting for staff, students, and community members to build our school AS ONE!
There are several important events to put on your calendar:
August 13 Class Lists posted at the school 3:30 p.m.
August 14 Back to School Night 5:00-6:00 p.m.
August 14 & 15 Kindergarten Assessments (by appointment)
August 15 First Day of School for gr 1-5 9:00 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.
August 15 & 16 Preschool orientation Open House format
August 17 First Day of School for Kindergarten
August 20 First Day of School for Preschool
August 24 Grand Opening 5:00-7:00 p.m.
In addition to meeting your child’s teacher at the Back-To-School Night, you may also:
*Pay the $10 Material’s Fee (cash, check or RevTrak)
*Sign up for PTO committees
*Pay for School Lunches
*Register for Before and After Child Care - childcare begins August 15th at 7:00 a.m.
*Bring your child’s school supplies
*Talk to a representative from Transportation to find out bus routes and pick up times.
* Crayons to Calculators backpacks are available in the main office for families in need of school supplies.
Please remember there is NO PARKING in the Hug & Go Zone, along the curb in front of the school, at any time. Please pull forward as far as possible in the Hug & Go Zone before dropping your child off. If you want to walk your child to the entrance please park in the parking lot or on surrounding streets. During afternoon pickup, if you must leave your vehicle and enter the school, please park in the main lot. Vehicles in the Hug & Go Zone MUST be attended at all times.
Teachers will gather students in the front and back of the building, depending on the classroom location within the building. Your child’s teacher will notify you where the class should lineup. Teachers will have a grade level sign for students to gather at prior to entering the building. For the safety of all our students it is imperative that you honor this request. Thank you!
If your child rides the bus to school you can check schedules and pick up bus passes at the Back to School night or during school office hours prior to the first day of school. Questions regarding bus routes should be directed to Transportation at 303-702-7534.
